good lord has it been a while.
i got caught up with other things. still making art, still have TONS of icons. i really need to finish fixing things up so i can have everything warehouse 13 up to date. it's my main fandom. i have fic for it even. ugh, so much to do.

two new walls: joanne kelly~cuz she's GORGEOUS and awesome, even with straight hair. mother goddess~gaia...she was awesome. and whoooooo was she hot. and it's jaime, and i love me some jaime murray.

hey hey hey...now we're getting somewhere. progress may be in many ways overrated, but not this kind;)
the main icon page is all fixed up(i do NOT know why the "back to the top" links are being wonky). i am not going to purdify the xena or L word galleries any time soon(that's like 400 icons!!).
Warehouse 13 gets its own pages(as it bloody well should). i've posted all the new walls i have(only 4, but hey, they're up finally).
oh, and also
keep an eye on the warehouse 13 icon gallery, i will be updating it periodically little bits at a time until i get all of them up...i might even add some helpful navigation...yes, this is a good idea.
and since this is MY place, i'm going to brag about something i got on the 18.

alright, i think i have let this mess go on too long now. i got distracted by my shiny new fandom(and a certain actress or two). and seeing as how i might be getting a lot more traffic now, i should probably finish this recode and fix everything.

there may be a few broken links. none of my warehouse 13 stuff is up yet. but hey, if you came over from AUSXIP, i have plenty of pretty pretty xena stuff for you to look at. i WILL get things in order, eventually.
August 11
moved and now have internet again. work has begun on the icon gallery re-code. there will be some changes there, mostly cosmetic, a couple navigation. i've got my theme for a new layout. but just a kernal, it needs to be matured for me to know how i want to use that theme.

all the wallpaper galleries have been changed. they have all been moved off photobucket, so there is no longer a loss of quality. watermarks are gone(if that bothered you). ACTORS is now people(actors/actresses, musicians--basically people). MISCELLANEOUS is now tv--anything that isn't xena or buffy. the nav labels won't change til i update the layout. that will more than likely take a long time because there's a few things i will need to learn how(or even if) i can do what i want to. also....i've got the icon galleries to upgrade. with what's already there and what i need to add, it comes out just shy of 900 icons. so.....that'll take a while. but i'm working on it.

actual changes have been made to the layout of the gallery pages! that's right, actual, real work has been done on this site. which is just a stepping stone to getting back into doing walls. also, i will be going through my links page(after i fix the galleries) and figuring out what needs to be updated and what needs to be deleted. i know a handful of the links are still accurate(and i did just update ariel's link for her new address). there's a looooong road ahead of me, but didn't somebody once say something about a journey of a thousand miles beginning with a single step? either that or never wear radioactive underwear.

i know haven't done anything in a while. i'm actually trying to work through an entire recode of the site. just trying to fix everything up, make it look a better, make it easier to update. so hopefully i can get that all done and actually start updating with new art. i've been feeling the itch again, so it might not be too far away. this huge, unplanned hiatus is all due to me wanting to change the layout, but then i wanted to change the coding first...and well. shit happens.

wow. i feel like shit for neglecting this place, and all of you guys for so long. i really do want to get back into arting(is that a word?), but i dunno. i just haven't been feeling it much lately. i mean, i know it comes and goes, but i think i will try to bring it back. i made one wall, by request, for a friend on the ROCnet forum. i shared my xena walls there and she loved my style so much she asked me to make this wall for her. and i gotta say, it came out SPECTACULARLY. i'm in love with everything about this piece, and it's kinda part of why i want to get back into doing this. tears~she requested i use this line of gabrielle's, which helped her through some incredibly hard times and make a wallpaper for it. i think it's beautiful, and most importantly, she LOVED it.

i am eventually(read hopefully next week) gonna post all the icons i have lying around that need to go up. it is SOOOOO many. but also, i really need/want to change up the look of this place. and that's another reason i've been not so great with the updating, i just can't think of what i want to do. i mean, i know there are some layout changes i want to make, navigational stuff that i will steal learn from your guys' pages, but really, i have no clue what i want. i'm thinking a return to my roots, and the roots of this site, and put up a new xena layout. and it will be bad ass.

well...my best friend died friday, my dog.
and i'm using the lotr as comfort food. which has inspired me to work more on that series i started. quite a few more characters to go. this also means more lotr icons for those who enjoy them.
also, since i'm here...1 animated xena icon(gabby's sexy dance from who's gurkhan) and 5 kristen stewart icons. 2 lotr wallpapers, the death of boromir and the test of galadriel. and i uploaded that award.
also, anyone know of a good way to have my icons up and be able to later on add images in the middle without having to redo/move coding? cuz i'm a little anal about order and like to group icons within a group and i'm now using just a simple table code and whenever i add icons to the middle i have to go through and move all the tr and td code pieces. not the end of the world, but there's bound to be a better way to do it.
